Collection: Raw Moldavite

Called the Tears of Heaven, Moldavite is a rare tektite, a natural glass, formed from a meteorite collision nearly 15 million years ago. A piece of Moldavite, when seen in the best light, illuminates the intensity of this mysterious and gorgeous stone. Moldavite has olive-green color that ranges from pale and translucent to varying hues of deep forest greens with occasional streaks of brown.

Natural (authentic) Moldavite has unique inclusions: swirls, flow marks, infused glass threads, and gas bubbles trapped inside. Many bubbles are perfectly visible, while others can only be seen with a microscope.
